Modern houses for several hundred flats have been built in Hongui-dong and Hahoe-dong, Sonbong District, Rason Municipality of the DPRK.

The modern houses, which were built in sunny places suited to the regional characteristics, are a cradle of happiness provided by the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) which translates all the wishes of the people into reality.

Ceremonies for moving into new houses held on the spots respectively were attended by Choe Un Chol, secretary of the Rason Municipal Committee of the WPK, Ri Kwang Nam, vice-chairman of the Municipal People’s Committee, officials concerned, employees of the Jokji agro-stock production branch office under the Rason Municipal Road Construction Group, the Hongui agro-stock production branch office under the Rason Food Administration Station and the Rason Rabbit Warren.

At the ceremonies the speakers extended the deepest gratitude to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who is ushering in a new era of rural development on this land with his ceaseless leadership.

The villagers moved into new houses amid the cheerful peasant dances.
