The rice-transplantation gains momentum in farms across the country.

With the will to attain the grain production goal for this year, officials and working people in the field of agriculture over-fulfills their daily tasks for finishing the rice-transplantation qualitatively in the right season.

In particular, those of South Hwanghae Province, the biggest granary of the country, hasten the rice-transplantation, which is of great importance in bringing about the rich harvest.

The Kim Je Won and Pukji farms in Jaeryong County, Sokchon Vegetable Farm in Haeju City and Sindok Farm in Sinwon County finished the rice-transplantation in the main areas.

As of May 19, the rice-transplantation result in the province exceeded 50 percent and the Jaeryong and Thaethan counties have increased their result by 7-8 percent every day by arousing the enthusiasm of the masses.

And other counties including Anak County, too, over-fulfill their daily plans.

The officials of the province make exact demands on all the farms, work-teams and sub-workteams to carry out their daily rice-transplantation tasks within the day without fail, while directing big efforts to operating the rice-seedling transplanters by 100 percent so as to prove their capacities to the full.

Meanwhile, the dynamic struggle is being waged in North Phyongan Province, too, to complete the rice-transplantation in the right season.

As a part of it, the Sokha Farm in Sinuiju City and Nampaek Farm in Kusong City concluded the transplantation in the main areas.

The North Hwanghae Province pays special attention to ensuring a full operation of tractors and rice-seedling transplanters.

Similar successes are being witnessed in the farms of other regions including South Hamgyong and South Phyongan provinces.
