At first when the consultation was held for the factory’s modernization plan, a proposal was made for importing some core equipment from foreign countries.
It is a Party policy to localize the equipment as well as raw and other materials.
Officials of the factory, with unshakable standpoint that the modernization work is also the ideological campaign, buckled down to that work.
Thus, they made success in putting the production process on an unmanned, germ-free and dust-free basis in a short period by their technology and equipment.
That day, after acquainting himself with the modernization of the factory, the respected General Secretary said that to have raised the proportion of localization was of great significance, adding that it made him very pleased.
Referring to the fact that in the future, we should make the facilities and materials needed in modernizing the factories and enterprises by ourselves, he stressed that to raise the proportion of localization of equipment and materials is just core and main index in modernizing the factories and enterprises.
Herein lies the General Secretary’s grand aspiration and ideal to build the most prosperous socialist power in the world without fail by dint of the noblest and warmest love for the motherland and people and self-reliance.
