More Women’s Union Officials and Members Volunteer to Work at Main Theaters

With enthusiasm for carrying out the decisions of the 9th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, many women’s union officials and members advanced into major worksites for socialist construction.

The women’s union members in Pukchang County and Sunchon and Kaechon cities of South Phyongan Province, full of passion for discharging their civic duty in the campaign for prosperity of the country, volunteered to work at the working sites in the field of coal industry as well as agricultural and chemical industries.

Those of Hyesan City, Kapsan County and Samsu County advanced into factories and farms true to the intention of the Party.

The women’s union members of Wonsan City volunteered to work at light industry factories and those of Munchon City and Chonnae County, at clothing factories.

The women’s union members of North Phyongan Province, too, joined in the advance as they work at forest management stations, saltworks, machine-building factories, light industry factories and other major units of the socialist construction.

The enthusiasm for contributing to the prosperity and development of the country is aroused among those of North Hamgyong Province.

The women’s union members in Kyongwon County volunteered to work at the county raw material base station and those of Chongjin and Kim Chaek cities, at the Chongjin School Uniform Factory.

Those of Onsong, Orang, Musan and Myongchon counties voluntarily participated in the campaign for increased production while working at farms, coal mines and mines.

Thousands of the women’s union officials and members joined in the advance for implementing the decisions of the plenary meeting of the Party Central Committee.

Their deeds vividly show the growing enthusiasm and spirit of the working women who are turning one of the two wheels of the revolution with their sincere efforts and patriotic devotion.
