An exhibition of finishing building materials in the field of rural construction of Pyongyang Municipality-2024 was held in Pyongyang as part of the work to further consolidate the foundation for producing finishing building materials.

Displayed there were more than 10 000 finishing building materials of 50-odd kinds presented by ten districts and counties in the municipality where rural construction is under way.

Appreciated at the exhibition were various kinds of distemper for external building walls, colorful paving blocks, paints, liquid water-proofing materials and damp-proofing paper newly produced and exhibited by Rangnang and Ryokpho districts.

Kangnam and Kangdong counties presented plastic tubes of various sizes, artificial stone boards, wallpaper and electric outlets produced with locally available raw materials.

High-quality technical innovations for reducing production cost were introduced.

Visual aids dealing with scores of remarkable technical innovations made by Mangyongdae, Hyongjesan and other districts attracted the interest of visitors.
