In our country, bringing up children to be strong and sound is regarded as the most important policy and supreme desire of our Party and state.

The DPRK law on childcare adopted at the 6th Session of the 14th Supreme People’s Assembly, which took place in February, Juche 111 (2022), is a typical example of this.

At the 3rd Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea in June, Juche 110 (2021), the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un called for establishing it as a Party’s policy to supply all the children across the country with nourishing food including dairy products at the state’s expense.

He also taught that the work for implementing the Party’s new childcare policy should be waged in a substantial way at the 5th Session of the 14th Supreme People’s Assembly.

Hence, the adoption of the DPRK law on childcare which guarantees every condition for putting forth the children as the kings of the country and bringing them up into future pillars.

Every article of the law reflects the Party’s unchangeable will and aspiration to treasure our children the most and spare nothing for their sake.

We are full of confidence that the happiness of the children will grow bigger and bigger and our future is rosy as we hold the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un, who loves the children the most and bestows endless benevolence on them, in high esteem.
