Children Grow Up with Credit under Great Loving Care

Politics 2024.6.2.

The children in the DPRK are celebrating the June 1 International Children’s Day.

On this occasion, our people recollect with deep emotion the warm love of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un associated with the orphanages and baby homes across the country.

In Juche 103(2014), the respected fatherly Marshal visited the Pyongyang Baby Home to mark the International Children’s Day.

At that time he saw the menu for the holiday and taught in detail how to cook to meet the taste of the children, while taking a measure to feed the orphans with pheasant meatballs.

On June 1 of the following year, he gave field guidance at the Wonsan Baby Home and Orphanage and proposed letting children cut tape at the inauguration ceremony so that they might always remember that day even after they have grown up, adding how pleasant President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il would have been if they had seen those children cutting the tape.

The Okryu Children’s Hospital built as a palace and happy home of the children also conveys the love of the respected fatherly Marshal.

Initiating the construction of the hospital, he looked round its construction site despite rainy day and took all sorts of measures saying that he would solve the problems arising in the construction as the construction of hospital was the project to which the party paid particular attention.

The “Haebaragi”-school supplies, too, shows the world of love of the peerlessly great man for our children.

While making far and steep front journey ceaselessly, the respected fatherly Marshal unfolded a plan to build a modern school supplies factory and in the days when he guided the 5th Plenary Meeting of the 7th Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, he gave precious instructions related to the “Haebaragi”-school supplies by devoting his valuable time.

At that time when all the people were full of jubilation greeting the New Year, he put his heart and soul into normalizing the production of school supplies factory.

Reflected in the Party’s childcare policy is the noble outlook on the rising generation of the WPK which regards it as the mode of advance and development of our revolution to exert more sincerity to children even though the condition becomes worse and to take dynamic steps forward towards the future of communism with the might of that love.

At the Third Plenary Meeting of the 8th WPK Central Committee, the respected fatherly Marshal indicated detailed tasks and ways for improving and bolstering the Party’s childcare policy, saying that there is no more important revolutionary work than the work of bringing up children, the future of the country, to be strong and sound and that it is the most important policy and supreme cherished desire of our Party and state to provide more improved conditions of bringing them up even at the cost of huge sum of money.

He, who defined the issue of improving and bolstering the Party’s childcare policy as a major agenda item at the WPK plenary meeting at where the top priority affairs of the Party and state were discussed, stressed again the need to radically increase milk output, develop the milk processing technology and thoroughly ensure the quality of dairy products in his historic policy speech made at the 5th Session of the 14th Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPRK and letter sent to the participants in the 9th Congress of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea (UAWK).

He acquainted himself with the number of nurslings and kindergarteners across the country and the milk intake a day and also took special measures for preparing milk powder to be fed them.

And then he personally tasted the trial-produced milk powder and was concerned for its quality.

Thanks to his benevolent love, the childcare policy that cannot be found in the world was adopted and the implementation of the Party policy could be guaranteed legally.

As we uphold the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un in high esteem who loves our children most, singing of "We Are the Happiest in the World" will resound forever on this land.
