In Sector of Railway Transport

The locomotive workteams in the railway transport sector, which fulfilled their first half-yearly quotas, are being increased in number.

According to data available, 200-odd locomotive workteams fulfilled their first half-yearly transport quotas ahead of schedule.

The Ministry of Railways and the Party organizations of every Railway Bureau launched the field political work briskly to arouse the crews to carry out the decisions of the Ninth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth WPK Central Committee.

Those of the West Pyongyang Service Brigade of Engine, the Sinsongchon Service Brigade of Engine and the Pyongyang Service Brigade of Engine under the Pyongyang Railway Bureau kindled the fierce flame of campaign for increased transport amid the non-breakdown, on-schedule operation and extratraction movement.

Those of the Chongjin Service Brigade of Engine, the Hoeryong Service Brigade of Engine, the Kilju Service Brigade of Engine and Sinam Service Brigade of Engine under the Chongin Railway Bureau intensified the technical management and introduced the rational driving methods.

Similar success were witnessed in the Jongju Service Brigade of Engine, Huichon Service Brigade of Engine, Kaechon Service Brigade of Engine, Sinuiju Service Brigade of Engine, Tanchon Service Brigade of Engine, Kowon Service Brigade of Engine, Wonsan Service Brigade of Engine, Hamhung Service Brigade of Engine and other service brigades of engine under the Hamhung Railway Bureau.

At Komdok Mining Complex

The number of workteams which fulfilled their yearly and first half-yearly quotas are increasing at the Komdok Mining Complex.

Among them were the Ko Kyong Chan-led Hero Workteam, Ri Song Il-led Discharged Soldiers’ Tunneling Workteam and Pak Ho Chol-led Workteam.

Following their examples, other units fulfilled their first half-yearly quotas successively.

The officials and working people the mining complex have carried out their monthly production plan without fail form the outset of this year.

The number of innovators increased through the brisk socialists emulation among the workteams and campaigns for overtaking and learning from others.

Now the worktems of the mining complex are encouraging themselves to increase the production.
