A research institute under the Academy of Light Industry established the new process of producing artificial fur in our style at the Songyo Knitwear Factory, thus providing firm guarantee for making good quality of winter shoes.

The new production process with high annual capacity is based on water-, energy- and labor-saving methods.

The officials of the research institute pushed ahead with the research project to finish it as soon as possible; they formed the research group with talented scientists and led veteran scientists and young scientists to share techniques and experiences with each other.

Choe Yong Rim, head of a laboratory, Pak Min Chol, Ri Won Gyun and other scientists solved the sci-tech problems-- they developed a new dyeing machine and testing machines; and installed control devices and sizing facilities.

In particular, Merited Scientist Kim Thaek Su, led other scientists to success in the research.

The technicians and skilled workers of the April 15 technical innovation shock brigade at the factory settled the problems arising in managing facilities by intensifying the collective discussions.

Other units under the Ministry of Light Industry sincerely help them to make new facilities, and thus the new process of producing artificial fur was established in our style in a short span of time.

Now the scientists of the research institute make bigger stride in their work for achieving successive results, not content with the present success.
