Amid the vigorous struggle of all the people to make a bigger stride along the road of prosperity ushered in by the great Party Central Committee successes have been achieved in rice-transplantation, one of farming processes of great importance in a year’s farming.

All the farms throughout the country set the daily plan high and pushed forward with the farming process vigorously, thus completing the rice-transplantation in the main areas in time.

The agricultural commission conducted the plan and command in a watertight way to complete the rice-transplantation in due season.

Pyongyang Municipality set Mangyongdae District which achieved success in introducing a new rice seedling cultivation method as a model in rice-transplantation and made sure that all the districts and counties complete the rice-transplantation as scheduled.

Similar successes were achieved in South and North Phyongan provinces, South and North Hwanghae provinces, Jagang, Kangwon, South and North Hamgyong provinces.

Now, officials, agricultural workers and helpers continue to put spurs to present farming process in augmented spirit.
