A schoolchildren’s footwear factory has been newly built in Nampho Municipality of the DPRK.

The factory with modern equipment and cultural conditions provides a material and technical foundation for smoothly producing and supplying various kinds of shoes and trainers for the schoolchildren in the municipality.

Present at its inauguration ceremony were Ri Jae Nam, chief secretary of the Nampho Municipal Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, officials and working people in the municipality and employees of the factory.

Song Sung Chol, chairman of the municipal people’s committee, made an inaugural address to be followed by speeches.

After the ceremony, the participants went round the factory.
