A lot of monumental edifices for schoolchildren appeared in the new century of the Juche era.

In particular, bases of extracurricular education were excellently erected in the new century of the Juche era under the wise leadership of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un who brings up the future of the country with credit.

The General Secretary visited the Sondowon International Children’s Camp in May Juche 102(2013) to take benevolent measures for remodeling the camp as required by the new era.

According to available data, more than 100 000 local and foreign schoolchildren enjoyed delightful camping at the remodeled international camp for ten years from the first term which began on May 10, 2014.

Meanwhile, the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren’s Palace was wonderfully remodeled true to the General Secretary’s noble intention.

He visited the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren’s Palace in May Juche 103(2014) and put forward the task for remodeling the palace associated with the loving care of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and took all necessary measures. Then the General Secretary visited again the remodeled Mangyongdae Schoolchildren’s Palace and told that the Party spared nothing for it as the children’s laughter meant hurrah for the victory.

Now a lot of schoolchildren do afterschool activities in the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren’s Palace every day.

Among the palace circle members are those who took part in art performances, international contests, children’s art contests, etc. to fully demonstrate the advantages of the socialist education system of our country and the bright future of Juche Korea.

There are also successfully remodeled the Yonphungho Children’s Camp, the Mangyongdae Children’s Camp, the Samjiyon Schoolchildren’s Palace, 250-Mile Journey for Learning Schoolchildren’s Palace and other bases for extracurricular education displaying the advantages of the socialist system.

Numerous cradles for orphans were built thanks to the loving care of the respected General Secretary.

Pyongyang Orphans’ Secondary School, model of secondary education circumstances, opened on July 18, Juche 105(2016) and Pyongyang Primary School for Orphans opened in February of the following year.

Then similar secondary and primary schools for orphans were successfully erected in all provinces of the country.

The Okryu Children’s Hospital is another monumental edifice in the era of the Workers’ Party of Korea which was built thanks to the General Secretary’s personal proposition and energetic leadership.

Indeed, the monumental edifices for our schoolchildren in different parts of the country are the crystal of the benevolent father’s warm affection and loving care.

The motherland full of children’s laughter will be everlasting and the singing of the song "We Are the Happiest in the World" will resound forever under the care of the respected General Secretary.
