Millions of members of the Korean Children’s Union (KCU) significantly celebrate the 78th Founding Anniversary of the KCU.

On this occasion, they are burning their minds with a firm pledge to strongly grow up to be genuine sons and daughters as well as the pillars of the socialist motherland.

Our KCU members, keeping in their minds an important letter sent to the participants in the Ninth KCU Congress from the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un, have studied well, observed well the socialist morality and done more good deeds with one patriotic mind, thus soundly preparing themselves as the model union members.

Numbers of the children’s union members across the country have sent to the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun where President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il lie in state, revolutionary battle sites and museums good species of trees and flower plants along with many materials necessary for managing them.

And they have got full marks at their sunny campuses, bearing deep in mind the respected fatherly Marshal’s instructions that the criterion of a young revolutionary and patriot consists in his top honour records of school performance.

Also numberless deeds including do-good-deeds movement and various socio-political activities conducive to the country’s prosperity and economy have been observed among the schoolchildren.

In those days, more than 410 KCU members were honored to receive Kim Il Sung Children Honor Prize and Kim Jong Il Children Honor Prize.

Such honors won by our schoolchildren would be unthinkable without the respected fatherly Marshal’s warm love for the future of the revolution.

As there are millions of the KCU members growing up reliably to be the pillars of the prosperous DPRK, upholding the respected fatherly Marshal as the father of the great socialist family, the future of our motherland is always bright and rosy.
