The Korea University of Physical Education in the DPRK strives to develop education in physical culture in a long-term and sustained way.

It has pushed ahead with the work to draw up curricula on a high level in conformity with the characteristics of the faculty to be newly established.

Teachers and researchers worked out a new teaching syllabus and devoted their wisdom and passion to writing teaching plans and aids for improving educational contents.

As a result, sportspersons with a certain athletic career and degree have been studying in the new faculty from April 1 this year.

The university directs efforts to improving the qualifications of teachers while introducing excellent teaching experience and methods.

Meanwhile, it organized mobile training courses for colleges of physical education in different provinces and conducted the work for increasing the quality of physical education.

It is also pushing ahead with the work to improve the educational conditions and environment.
