The 2024 National Exhibition of Children’s Science Fiction Models and Inventions came to a close with due ceremony at the Sci-Tech Complex on Friday. It was opened to mark the 78th birthday of the Korean Children’s Union.

At least 210 kinds of science fiction models and inventions were highly appreciated at the exhibition.

Pyongyang Municipality took the special place, South Hamgyong Province the first, North and South Phyongan, South Hwanghae and North Hamgyong provinces the second, and North Hwanghae and Kangwon provinces and Nampho, Kaesong and Rason municipalities the third.

At the closing ceremony, the jury results were announced and trophies and diplomas awarded to the excellent organizations and schoolchildren.

Then there were speeches.

Mun Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, made a closing address.
