His Parental Love for Children

One June day in Juche 102 (2013), the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un inspected the newly-built Pyongyang International Football School.

Making rounds of the school, he gave several precious instructions.

When he dropped in at a classroom, he sat on a low chair for pupils and gazed at the desk for a while.

The accompanying officials wondered why.

The respected General Secretary said to the puzzled officials that the classroom has no space for pupils to keep their personal belongings.

Only then, the officials, who had thought the classroom to be quite flawless, realized what they had missed.

Presently, the respected General Secretary taught that the top of the desk had to be connected to the rest of the desk with hinges so that pupils could open it and keep their textbooks and other school things inside. He added that hangers had to be installed on the side of the desk for bags and the like.

The officials looked up to him, who took such attentive care of the children with parental affection.

They keenly felt that the children would bring their talents into full bloom and grow sound and strong into future pillars thanks to such warm love of the benevolent father.

Newly Appeared Wall Pictures

On December 6, Juche 105 (2016), the respected General Secretary visited a children’s camp in Kangwon Province.

Being informed by an official that rooms for disseminating general knowledge had been newly built, he suggested going round all of them including the sea room, fine arts room, computer room and mountain-climbing room.

After a short while, he entered the rooms for disseminating general knowledge.

He looked round carefully the walls of the sea room and said that the visual aids on the walls showing the names and appearances of sea creatures could not give a profound knowledge about them.

He continued that wall pictures, not visual aids, had to be hung in order to show not only the names and appearances of sea creatures but also their biological features.

His words vividly reflected his ardent zeal to bring up the rising generation to be talents equipped with comprehensive knowledge.

Hence, the wall pictures suitable for the characters of the camp and children’s readiness newly appeared in the sea room.
