Issue of Mushroom Production He Paid Deep Attention to

One June day of Juche 102(2013) the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un inspected a farm in Anju City.

After informed of the fact that the farm was cultivating mushroom from a senior official of the province he expressed satisfaction and headed for the place.

At the 4th greenhouse building he kindly asked a caretaker if mushroom was cultivated there.

Hearing the answer that it couldn’t as it was summer, he said in a regretful tone that mushroom should be produced in all seasons. And he warmly added that President Kim Il Sung had already given instructions in 1970s that more than 100 thousand tons of mushroom should be produced in a year.

In fact, mushroom could be cultivated all the year round if they had paid due regard to its variety, raw-material, season, scale of cultivation and production condition.

For that reason the caretaker and the official felt so sorry.

But, the respected General Secretary, instead of blaming them for it, carefully taught that they should produce mushroom through all seasons including summer.

Looking up to the respected General Secretary who paid deep attention to supply of mushroom for people, the officials were wrapped in deep emotion.

Seeing One Product

It happened one May day when the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited a factory in the northern part of the country.

That day he examined the technical specifications of a product made by the factory and praised that the technical standard of that product was high enough, expressing his great satisfaction that the factory had done a lot of work in the meantime.

Receiving his priceless appreciation, an official of the factory hardly repressed his delight.

While looking fondly at the official, the respected General Secretary said as follows:

In the past, such products were made at a huge expenditure of labour, materials and time, but now it requires much less labour and materials to mass-produce them. It was a great technical innovation.

Then he asked them about the opinion from users.

The official answered him that all users liked it, adding that once an official of another factory had come to see it and returned with great admiration for it.

Listening to his reply, the respected General Secretary noted that it looked good to him and if the users liked it, then it was good.

At the moment, the official was moved.

The users the respected General Secretary was referring to were none other than our people.

Looking up to the General Secretary, the official cherished deep in his mind the noble intention that the criterion for judging the products is the people’s interests and demands.
