When He Was So Pleased

At mid-night of one February day, Juche 107(2018), the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un guided the trial run of a trolleybus which had been made by our working class.

That day he learned about its efficiency for a long time for fear that it might have even a slight defect.

He confirmed in person, going round the city aboard the trolleybus, that its damping device and speed were good enough and it has little vibration and noise and appreciated its overall technical conditions.

And then he told officials that it was a great success that we made such a trolleybus by our own efforts and he was so proud of that, warmly adding that he felt at ease as if he was in his own house when he took that trolleybus.

At the moment the officials were deeply impressed.

Getting off the bus after its trial run, the respected General Secretary said that he was very satisfied with the new type of trolleybus, adding that he was most pleased to see such creations made by dint of self-reliance.

And then he requested the officials to convey to its producers his thanks and instructions that the trolleybus we made was as good as imported one.

Looking up to the General Secretary wearing a broad smile, the officials deeply felt that he expresses his great satisfaction whenever seeing the creations made with our own efforts and technology.

Their Patriotism He Highly Praised

The following happened when the respected General Secretary visited the Chollima Tile Factory.

After acquainting himself with the actual condition of the factory which was producing quality tiles relying on raw materials and fuels abundant in our country, he said that the factory was running with locally-available raw materials.

Officials of the factory hardly control their minds with delight that they would show such gratifying realities that the factory has pushed ahead with the production at will after establishing a modern and comprehensive base for producing the finishing building materials.

Looking round the factory with satisfaction, the respected General Secretary considered the officials’ efforts who were striving to achieve successes one by one, studying about and designing their work in spite of difficult conditions.

Continuing that their pride in work, enthusiasm for work, enterprising way of work and patriotism must be valued, he praised that the factory’s officials and employees were applying patriotism in practice, not in words.

And then he expressed his belief that they would devote their wisdom and zeal to the country’s prosperity and development.

Bearing deep in their minds that the noble intention of the respected General Secretary that self-reliance is the genuine patriotic way, the officials made a firm determination to display the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance to the full.
