Jongju City pushes ahead with wheat harvest.

The officials and agricultural workers of the city are delighted to reap an unusual bumper crop. They are convinced of yielding over one ton more wheat per hectare this year than they did last year. The Work-team No. 6 of the Sema Farm, in particular, is expected to produce up to 8.5 tons per hectare as they adopted wheat of superior breed.

The officials and agricultural workers buckled down with the aim of winding up the wheat harvest in a short span of time.

The city committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea wages an intensive political and ideological education campaign to rouse agricultural workers to make redoubled efforts, mindful of the importance of prompt harvest of wheat.

Aware of their position and duty in successfully concluding wheat farming, the officials of the city rural economy committee make proper arrangements for reaping the wheat crop as soon as it ripens.

More and more achievements are made at the farms while full rein is given to the mental strength of the agricultural workers and efforts and means are focused on wheat harvest and threshing.
