The 36th regular general meeting of the Korean Federation of Workers in Commerce in Japan was held in Tokyo, Japan on June 15.
Present there were Pak Ku Ho, first vice-chairman and concurrently director of the Organizational Department of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon), Jo Il Yon, vice-chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, Hyon Tae Sik, director of its Economic Department, Pak Chung U, chairman of the Korean Federation of Workers in Commerce in Japan, O Min Hak, managing director of the Standing Council of the Korean Federation of Workers in Commerce in Japan, and regional and local representatives.
Pak Chung U, chairman of the Korean Federation of Workers in Commerce in Japan, made an opening address and then O Min Hak, managing director of the Standing Council of the Korean Federation of Workers in Commerce in Japan, made a report.
The reporter said that the Korean Federation of Workers in Commerce in Japan has been developed into a powerful economic organization and a dynamic organization by working heart and soul to orient all work to the compatriots-first principle under the wise guidance and great loving care of the respected Comrade
He stressed that they would fully discharge their responsibility and duty as the main force of patriotic work by enlisting the inexhaustible efforts of the Korean businessmen in the future, too, and thus greet the 80th anniversary of the federation with brilliant record.
Speeches were made.
Then the grant of rewards to the exemplary men was made.
Pak Chung U was reelected chairman of the Korean Federation of Workers in Commerce in Japan and O Min Hak, managing director of the Standing Council of the federation.
At the end of the general meeting there took place an enlarged meeting of the First Session of the 36th Standing Council of the federation.
