The 76th meeting of the National Sports Guidance Committee took place in the DPRK on June 20.

The meeting was presided over by Premier Kim Tok Hun, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the C.C., Workers’ Party of Korea and vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, who is chairman of the National Sports Guidance Committee.

Present at the meeting were Pak Jong Gun, vice-premier and chairman of the State Planning Commission, Kim Il Guk, minister of Physical Culture and Sports, members of the National Sports Guidance Committee and officials concerned.

The meeting reviewed the work of the guidance committee members and discussed the issues of making preparations for major international games and providing conditions for teaching and training in the summer season.

Then, there was a consultative meeting of officials concerned for the participation in the 33rd Olympic Games.
