A meeting of political parties and organizations of Russia took place in Moscow on June 19 to mark the 60th anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il’s start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

Present at the meeting were personages of political parties and organizations of Russia.

The participants laid bouquets before an art work depicting President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il standing together and paid tribute to them.

They looked round the photos showing the immortal exploits President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il and the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un performed in developing the friendly relations between the DPRK and Russia, their famous works and albums introducing the DPRK.

Speeches were made at the meeting.

The secretary of the C.C., Communist Party of the Russian Federation who is head of the Russia-DPRK Friendship Parliamentary Group of the State Duma noted that Kim Jong Il started his work at the C.C., WPK on June 19, 1964 and had performed the brilliant exploits while leading the WPK for decades.

The chairman of the National Council of the Russian Association of Youth and Children said that the party-building exploits of the peerlessly great man, who had led the DPRK’s people only to victory despite the imperialist allied forces’ moves to isolate and stifle the DPRK by strengthening the Party’s leadership in every way, will be immortal.

The chairwoman of the Party for Peace and Unity of Russia and the representative for international affairs of the chairman of the Socialist Political Party "For Just Russia-Patriots-Truth" said that Kim Jong Il made an immortal contribution to developing the friendly relations between the DPRK and Russia.

The chairman of the General People’s Union Party of Russia stressed that it is the reflection of the clear moral world of the DPRK’s people with the loyalty to their leader and noble moral obligation to mark the 60th anniversary of Kim Jong Il’s start of work at the C.C., WPK and that the DPRK is invincible as it has the people who adhere to the revolutionary tradition with the absolute trust in their leader and firm confidence in victory.
