Modern houses have been built at the Paekam and Tonae farms in Jangjin County and the Songjong Farm in Riwon County of South Hamgyong Province of the DPRK.

Single- and low-storied and terraced houses with regional features have all conditions capable of promoting convenience in the life of the owners.

Ceremonies for moving into those new houses took place on the spots.

Present there were Wi Chol Su and Kim Yong Hak, secretaries of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, and officials of the province and counties, builders and agricultural workers.

Licenses for the use of houses were handed over and speeches were made.

Officials visited the new houses to congratulate their owners amid the display of cheerful dancing parties.

People’s laughter and songs were heard at every house of the fairyland villages built under the care of the WPK.
