The construction of some universities and other projects are actively promoted in the DPRK to implement the decision of the 9th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Party Central Committee.

The Ministry of Education, the State Planning Commission, the Ministry of Finance, the School Renovation Central Control Group and provinces push ahead with this work in an active manner.

The construction of library of Koryo Songgyungwan University is underway at its final stage and officials of the university push ahead with the work of manufacturing hundreds of library fixtures simultaneously.

The Kangwon Provincial Urban Construction Brigade engaged in construction of Wonsan Ri Su Dok Teachers Training College wages the construction of dormitory and library vigorously.

Under the deep attention of the officials of ministries, Party and power organs at provincial level the construction and renovation projects of Chongjin O Jung Hup University of Education, Hamhung Choe Hui Suk Teachers Training College, Hyesan Teachers Training College, Sinuiju Cha Kwang Su University of Education and Kanggye universities of education are also actively promoted.

The work of completing the design of the provincial universities of agriculture to be newly built or renovated is also underway.

The work of face-lifting the appearances of universities and colleges is for raising the education level resolutely and providing material and technical foundation for training more talents who will shoulder the socialist comprehensive prosperity as required by the Party.
