A socialist modern village representing the bright future of rural rejuvenation has appeared at the Pongrin Farm in Pakchon County, North Phyongan Province of the DPRK.
Hundreds of modern single-storied and terraced houses surrounded by the peculiar grove are the cradle of happiness built thanks to the devoted efforts and benevolence of the respected Comrade
Present at the ceremony for moving into those new houses were Ryu Song Hyok, secretary of the North Phyongan Provincial Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, and officials, builders and agricultural workers in the county of Pakchon.
O Ryong Hak, vice-chairman of the North Phyongan Provincial People’s Committee, made a congratulatory address there.
Licenses for using houses were handed over to agricultural workers and speeches were made.
Amid a cheerful dancing party, the moving into new houses began and officials shared joy with their owners.
