The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Hong Sok Won, a woman centenarian living in neighborhood unit No. 8 in Tokhung-ri, Kangso District, Nampho Municipality.

Officials of the Kangso District Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea and villagers visited Hong’s house to celebrate her birthday and share joy with her.

She, enjoying longevity in good health under the socialist system, expressed deep thanks to Kim Jong Un for his loving care.

She, who had been subject to all kinds of maltreatment and contempt under the Japanese colonialist rule, could lead a true life after national liberation. She worked hard to fulfill her duty as an agricultural worker.

Her family members said in excited tones that Kim Jong Un who bestows warm benevolence even to an ordinary old woman is the tender-hearted father of the great socialist family.
