An oratorical meeting of workers and trade union members took place in Songchon County, South Phyongan Province of the DPRK, on Friday amid the ever-growing patriotic enthusiasm of the working people across the country, occasioned by the strong push for regional-industry revolution.

The performers expressed their gratitude to the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un who is ushering in a new era of comprehensive development, in which the capital and the provinces are developing simultaneously, and their determination to make a tangible contribution to the accomplishment of the regional-industry revolution.

They talked about the revolutionary journey of the benevolent father who set forth a grand practical programme for the development of regional industry, which comprehensively embodies the idea of believing in the people as in Heaven and making devoted service for them, and has worked heart and soul to provide the people with the best civilized life.

They said that the grand start of the regional-industry revolution across the country vibrant with fresh spirit of creation and changes would echo throughout the country along with the people’s happy laughter and the song "We Are the Happiest in the World".

The performers said that the country is a genuine paradise for the people as it holds in high esteem the General Secretary who regards the people’s bright smile as a criterion for evaluating the national power and is making devoted service for the people as the father of the great socialist family.

Attending the meeting were Vice-Chairman Choe Song Nam and other officials of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea and workers and trade union members in Songchon County.
