Officials and working people in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, have successfully built a city nursery.

The completion of a modern tree nursery, equipped with production facilities, experimental and analytical equipment and others, where production of saplings are put on a scientific, industrial and intensive basis, provides a solid foundation for fully producing saplings needed for afforestation and greening in the city.

An inaugural ceremony of the Pyongyang Municipal Tree Nursery took place on the spot on Friday.

Present there were Ri Kun Sok, secretary of the Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, officials concerned, builders and officials and employees of the tree nursery.

Choe Hui Thae, chairman of the Pyongyang Municipal People’s Committee, addressed the ceremony.
