It is the Tower Symbolic of Mirae Scientists Street.

The tower stands in the middle of the avenue and shows in a formative and artistic way the firm will of our Party to cement the socialist foundation and advance socialism by dint of science.

The tower, born under the personal initiative and guidance of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un, has a unique formation and implies profound meaning.

Pak Myong Jin, designer of the tower, explained as follows:

The architectural component depicting an atomic nucleus and orbits of electrons moving round it in the upper part of the tower describes the science and technology; and the tower body is in the shape of beacon tower that widens toward the upper.

The letter "Mirae"(Future in Korean) which is embossed on the tower symbolizes the name of the Street as well as passionate enthusiasm of scientists and technicians for opening up a bright future with science and technology.

The blue walls of the tower represent the country developing under the wise leadership of the Party.

Its height of 21 meters means the new century of the Juche era in our country which advances by dint of science.

The tower was built using the stone for the main building material in combination with glass and metal materials.

The Tower Symbolic of Mirae Scientists Street adds beauty to Mirae Scientists Street which makes all its buildings artistic.
