True to the decisions of the Ninth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, the Central Committee of the Union of the Agricultural Workers of Korea (UAWK) and other UAWK organizations arouse officials and agricultural workers to weeding through the brisk socialist emulations.

The Pyongyang Municipality Committee and the South Phyongan Provincial Committee of the UAWK intensify the organizational work and its guidance among their organizations to further boost the atmosphere of emulation.

Those of South Hwanghae Province, Nampho Municipality and Kaesong Municipality encourage the agricultural workers in socialist emulation in various forms and methods.

The Jaeryong County Committee of the UAWK displayed the emulation graph for weeding and generalized the examples of the primary UAWK committee of the Pudok Farm.

Thus, the primary UAWK committees of 20-odd farms actively aid the backward units and agricultural workers.

Similar successes are achieved by those of Unryul, Sinhung and Unsan counties.

Now, the Central Committee of the Union of the Agricultural Workers of Korea and other UAWK organizations take the leading role in proving vitality of the socialist emulation for weeding.
