Events were held at all universities and schools across the DPRK on Monday to start a new school year for Juche 113 (2024).

Kim Il Sung University, Kim Chaek University of Technology, Songyo Senior Middle School in Songyo District attached to Kim Hyong Jik University of Education, Wolha Branch School under Songsan Senior Middle School in Sariwon City, Pyongyang Primary School for Orphans, Pyongyang Middle School for Orphans, Pyongyang International Football School, Haebang Primary School in Waudo District and other universities and schools across the country were wrapped in a festive mood.

Prior to the school opening events, there were national flag-hoisting ceremonies.
