A symposium of social scientists took place on July 5 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung.

The symposium heard papers explaining and proving the immortal revolutionary exploits of the President who devoted his whole life to the sacred cause for the eternal prosperity of the Party and the revolution with his rare ideological and theoretical wisdom and outstanding leadership.

Speakers said that the President was an outstanding thinker-theoretician as he founded the Juche idea and provided a sure guarantee for accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Juche.

The Juche idea established the revolutionary theory and leadership method centered on the masses of the people, thus clearly indicating the way for the masses of the people to successfully carry out the revolution and construction and brilliantly accomplish the cause of independence, even in any complicated circumstances and conditions, by relying on the revolutionary and scientific theories, strategies, tactics and methods.

They said that the President was a peerless elder statesman who led the revolutionary cause of Juche always to victory under the banner of independence.

The revolutionary line of independence, clarified by the President for the first time in history, was the inexhaustible driving force that powerfully encouraged the DPRK and its people to build an independent national economy and bolster up the self-reliant defence capabilities while pursuing the resolute independent politics, and it was the basic factor guaranteeing the victorious advance of the revolutionary cause of Juche.

The revolutionary career of the President is the life of the popular leader as he regarded it as his motto to believe in the people as in Heaven and successfully applied it, the speakers stressed.

They said that the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un is the supreme incarnation of revolutionary moral obligation as he is adding luster to the sacred revolutionary careers and immortal exploits of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il.

They called for carrying forward the development history of Kim Il Sung’s nation and Kim Jong Il’s Korea as the eternal history of dignity, glory and prosperity under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.

Present at the symposium were Thae Hyong Chol, president of the Academy of Social Sciences, and officials, teachers and researchers in the fields of science, education, revolutionary relics and the institutions for training Party cadres.
