The Jangchon Vegetable Farm in Sadong District which President
The President made tireless efforts to turn the village into a prosperous one which had been called a village with sterile land.
When he visited the village on the outskirts of Pyongyang for the first time, a girl agricultural assistant engineer said to him that she received an empty envelope in the year-end account settlement and income distribution as the farm failed to do farming well.
Being informed about it, he was so concerned that he wrote the farm’s circumstances in his pocketbook, and he earnestly said that he would assume the responsibility for the farm in person.
Since then, the President had visited the farm in winter and summer seasons even on holidays and continuously walked along the wet farm roads to turn the farm as a vegetable one and helped it reap rich vegetable harvest.
Nowadays, the farm came to be born in a new way as a model one of the socialist rural culture and a rich one under the great love of the respected General Secretary

He visited the construction site full of mud and personally went down to an underground cutting face in which the water was dripping from the ceiling in order to solve the knotty problems arising in the construction.
As people’s figures waiting buses in cold winter weighed upon his mind, he, putting off his meal, visited the cutting face and made many night journeys to align the subway route.
Thanks to the indefatigable efforts and devotion of the great father the Pyongyang Metro was built on our own, which had been regarded as impossible without the technical and material assistance of foreign country.
The Pyongyang Metro, now, is being face-lifted as a more splendid and wonderful underground palace under the leadership of the respected General Secretary
