Jasan Ginkgo is a female tree growing behind Jasan Senior Middle School which is about two kilometers to the east of the Jasan Railway Station in Jasan-ri, Phyongsong City.

The ginkgo tree was planted in about 1280. Its height is 26m, girth of root collar 6.8m, girth of chest-height 5.5m and width of its crown 23m. The color of its stem is gray-brown.

The length of its leaves is 3-4cm and the width 5-6cm. Its leaves are smaller than other ginkgo trees. In general, the apex of ginkgo leaf is divaricated. But the apex of Jasan Ginkgo leaf is not divaricated.

The old Jasan Ginkgo is a precious living monument which is of academic significance.
