There is a story telling about a photo the President kept in his safe until the last period of his life.
The photo is one the President had taken with revolutionary soldier Kim Chaek in Juche 37(1948) when the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea was founded.
The President kept the photo in his safe for nearly half a century, which shows well the President’s revolutionary comradeship.
There are the anecdote "a cup of parched-rice flour" during the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle, a story of his way through hail of bullets to meet soldiers on a hill during the Fatherland Liberation War, the story about guidance on the construction of the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt Taesong and many others to prove the noble love for and trust in revolutionary comrades.
Once, the President impressively said that he could victoriously lead the Korean revolution for a long time from the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle thanks to the love of comrades.
