Politics 2024.7.10.

Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, received a message from G. A. Zhuganov, chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, on July 8.

The message said:

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un,

I, on behalf of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation and on my own behalf, express deep sympathy to you and all the brave DPRK people on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of demise of Comrade Kim Il Sung, the eternal President of the DPRK.

Comrade Kim Il Sung, the great leader and teacher of the nation, proclaimed the founding of an independent, free and just state in Korea.

This event marked an occasion of a turn in the 20th century and the history of mankind.

In the exciting 21st century, your country became a symbol of fortitude and heroism.

President Kim Il Sung, who devoted his all to the working people, not only saved the Korean people from the oppression of foreign forces, backwardness and poverty but also turned the DPRK into a highly developed power.

Today, the DPRK holds a full-fledged position in the international arena.

Enemies are afraid of the DPRK and friends respect it.

I am sincerely pleased that the friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the DPRK and the Russian Federation are growing stronger day by day thanks to your efforts.

Today when Russia is again waging a difficult struggle against the allied forces of world imperialism, we need unity and absolute mutual understanding more than ever before.

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un,

I express my heartfelt thanks to you for your understanding and support to our stand.

On this unforgettable day, I hope that you and the Workers’ Party of Korea and all the DPRK people will achieve a new great victory in the cause of building socialism and improving the working people’s continuous well-being.
