Cement Production Increases

Officials and working people of the Sangwon Cement Complex have turned out for implementing the decisions of the 10th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

They have succeeded in producing thousands of tons of cement more than scheduled for a first week in the second half of the year.

The Party committee of the complex wages political work among the masses for bringing about a rapid progress in the production by arousing their patriotic zeal and fighting stamina.

The staff of the complex conducts the operation and command in a mobile way for rationally organizing the manpower and using the facilities to the maximum, while keeping supply of various raw materials and fuels ahead of others.

In particular, it directs big efforts to putting the production on a high growth rate by activating the bases of producing minerals including limestone and iron ore.

The workers and technicians of the complex devote their sweats at each worksite with the will to contribute to the national prosperity with high production results.

On the basis of an ambitious goal to surpass again the peak-year level, skilled workers of the calcining shop and cement shop ensured the full operation of various facilities in a responsible way, thus greatly contributing to producing thousands of tons of cement for a week.

Similar successes are being made in the Sangwon Limestone Mine, Samchon Mine and Hwachon Coal Mine and other supply units of raw materials and fuels.

In Spirit of Fulfilling Yearly Coal Production Plan

Officials and colliers of the Sudong Coal Production Station in the Hamnam Area Coal Mining Complex have fulfilled the yearly coal production plan ahead of schedule by vigorously waging an increased production and creation drives.

They made innovation to fulfill their yearly coal production plan in a little more than two months in the wake of carrying out their half-yearly coal production plan in the middle of April.

The Party organization of the station waged the field-style political work in an offensive way for giving full play to the masses’ spiritual strength in those days.

The officials of the station went among the colliers to positively encourage them to work following the model of the former coal miners.

The officials and colliers of the Ungok, Jangdong and Jangryang pits, too, made a breakthrough for increased coal production through the socialist emulations.
