Though Changing Time Elapsed

Not long ago, spinners of the spinning shop No.2 in the Sinuiju Textile Mill, who were carefully making transfer preparations ahead of shift, were lost deep in thought.

Because there were newcomers among the members of next shift.

They had received a passing-on-technique for improving their skill for a few months but the formers could not feel easy and go back home.

At that time, Paek Un Ju suggested her companions helping latters improve their skill.

All of companions agreed to her.

Since then, they have devoted their wisdom to improving the technical skill of the new spinners while learning the working method for several hours.

With Uncommon Pride and Consciousness

When June comes, people’s neighborhood unit No.1 of Rakwon-dong, Pothonggang District is wrapped in festive mood.

Because it marks the significant day when Chairman Kim Jong Il visited their flat.

Shortly ago, head of the neighborhood unit saw several aged pensioners devote their sweats to managing the village.

So, she tried to persuade them to have a rest, however they continued their work saying that they wanted to contribute to managing their village associated with the Chairman’s leadership exploits.

They were not all.

That same day, all the members of the neighborhood unit turned out as one for the work to spruce up the interior and exterior of the flat.

Until now, they devote their wisdom and zeal to keeping clean their village.

Without Change for 10-odd Years

Jang Yong Hui works at the Kanggye City Public Service Station. As for Jang, deeds for orphans are a part of her life.

10-odd years ago she came to forge family ties with orphans. She was informed that the orphans of the orphanage prepared art performance on the occasion of the International Children’s Day one May day that year.

She pictured the orphans growing up stoutly under the benevolent care of the country and felt remorse at doing nothing for the orphans.

She firmly pledged to fulfill the civil duty on the road of upholding the noble intention of the Party.

She prepared tens of stage costumes with sincerity and visited the orphanage with those several days later. Since then she has continued her visit every year.

Last year, too, she provided many clothes for orphans and this year she devoted her sincerity to them several times.

Moreover, she, with her younger sister Jang Yong Suk, provided the nurses of the orphanage with suits and Korean traditional women’s clothes and also provided the orphans with clothes when they graduated the middle school for orphans.

Jang Yong Hui is, in no way, richer than others.

Whenever people praise her deeds, Jang Yong Hui says: "The orphans grow up happily without anything to envy under the benevolent care of the Party and the state; however, I am eager to contribute even a little of my sincerity for them."
