New houses have been built at the Songnae Farm in Kyongwon County, North Hamgyong Province of the DPRK.
The dwelling houses for several hundred families, which preserve the topographic features of the region, clearly demonstrate the validity and vitality of the Workers’ Party of Korea’s policy on rural construction which is to turn all rural villages across the country into rich and cultured ideal socialist villages in the near future.
Present at the ceremony for moving into those houses were Kim Pong Gil, secretary of the North Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the WPK, officials of the Party and government organs in the county, builders and agricultural workers.
Pak Myong Ho, chairman of the North Hamgyong Provincial People’s Committee, made a congratulatory address. Then licenses for the use of new houses were handed over and speeches made.
Moving into new houses took place amid the cheerful dance.
