A national sci-tech presentation in the field of chemical materials took place at the Sci-Tech Complex on July 15 and 16, under the sponsorship of the Korean Society of Chemical Materials of the C.C., General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea.

The presentation was attended by scientists, technicians, field officials and others from more than 20 units. It heard data on achievements made in the course of conducting a campaign of technology for increasing the proportion of locally available raw and other materials and increasing the production of chemical materials and products necessary for the economic construction and the improvement of people’s living standards.

The proposals made by Kim Il Sung University, Pyongyang Han Tok Su University of Light Industry, Hamhung University of Chemical Engineering, Hamhung Branch of the State Academy of Sciences and other units were highly appreciated for their contribution to putting the chemical industry on a Juche basis and great economic effectiveness and practical significance.
