A schoolchildren’s story-telling meeting, "Victorious Wartime Generation and I", took place at the Central Youth Hall here on Thursday, fully demonstrating the brave appearance of Korean Children’s Union members who are preparing themselves as reliable successors of the socialist country as befit the descendants of the great victors.

At the meeting, great-grandchildren of anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters and war veterans told about the immortal feats of the victorious wartime generation who devoted themselves to the war victory with absolute loyalty to the great leader Generalissimo Kim Il Sung, ardent love for the country and will to annihilate the enemy.

The audience was filled with solemn feelings when the hall reverberated with the immortal masterpiece "Song of Best Wishes" personally written by the great leader Generalissimo Kim Jong Il in reflection of the Korean people’s ardent wish for the safety of the President on the far-off way to front.

The participants were deeply moved by the stories of schoolchildren telling about the ardent love of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un who puts forward the ardent patriotism, popular heroism and noble self-sacrificing spirit displayed by the defenders of the country in the 1950s as the most valuable assets and glorifies their feats on the highest level.

The meeting ended with chorus "March of the Children’s Union" and "Ready Always for the Socialist Country". It showed well the will of schoolchildren to study harder and grow up to be pillars of Juche Korea, desired by the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un, with the soul and spirit of the great victorious wartime generation.

Present there were Mun Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, officials of the youth league and schoolchildren in Pyongyang.
