What our Party regards more valuable than anything else in today’s campaign for opening up a new era of rejuvenation is the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance.

This is the banner of the struggle and powerful weapon which should be maintained for the victory in the revolutionary cause of Juche.

In Jan. Juche 105(2016), the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un, who visited the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill, stressed that our Party’s intention is to be self-reliant and only the self-reliance is a means to live.

When he inspected the Wonsan Army-People Power Station, he said that the construction of the power station proved that nothing is impossible when we regard the self-reliance as the motive force.

The respected General Secretary, continuing his field guidance without rest, arouses our people to performing miracles by implanting into their mind the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance.

Self-reliance is the only way to survive! This is the firm faith of the respected General Secretary and it motivates our people to perform the world-startling miracles on this land.

Now our people, who learned to live on their own and defend their dignity and rights in the protracted and harsh environment unprecedented in history, are advancing towards the rosy future upholding the banner of self-reliance under the guidance the Party Central Committee.
