Ministries and National Agencies Render Support to People in Flood-hit Areas

The news, which the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un directly guided the work for the rescue and evacuation of inhabitants while looking round the flood-hit areas in North Phyongan Province of the DPRK, instills once again the great outlook of the Workers’ Party of Korea into the officials and working people across the country and is arousing the spirit of making selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people.

Officials of the Cabinet, ministries and national agencies have turned out in the work to help the people in the flood-hit areas.

The relief materials associated with warm minds and sincerity of the officials, who are working hard to uphold the intention of the Party Central Committee to spare nothing for relieving the people of their misfortune, are being sent to the flood-hit areas one after another.

The Cabinet and state economic guidance organs are meticulously organizing and commanding the transport for sending in time relief materials needed for the people in the flood-hit areas.

Provinces Give Assistance to Flood Victims

Officials and working people across the country are supporting the flood victims both physically and spiritually.

According to the news from the spots, they have continued to send a large quantity of foods in the wake of providing tents and others to the flood-affected inhabitants preferentially.

The Party and government organs of Pyongyang Municipality and every province convened the emergency meetings and repeatedly held discussions for sending even one more relief material needed in stabilizing the life of the flood victims.

Senior officials of the municipality made sure that the officials fully display high sense of responsibilities for securing the relief materials.

Those of the Party and administrative organs in North Hwanghae Province have devoted their sincerity to preparing the aid materials including clothes and daily necessities.

The provincial people, too, have turned out for assistance, thus increasing its quantities continuously.

The senior officials have minutely organized the work for setting off the vehicles of high performance to the special-level disaster emergency areas.

Amid the daily-growing enthusiasm for assistance, Kangwon Province and Nampho Municipality prepared a lot of daily necessities and medicines.

On July 30, trucks loaded with the relief materials departed for the spots.

Meanwhile, the officials and working people in other provinces, too, devote all to preparing the relief materials for the flood victims.
