The opera "Eternal Victors" is going on at the Pyongyang Grand Theatre.

The opera, opened on July 25 to mark the 71st anniversary of the victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War, shows what is the source of the irresistible strength of the Korean People’s Army soldiers, who defended Wolmi Islet at the cost of their lives during the war.

Through the depiction of Company Commander Ri Tae Hun, the audience understood that the war heroes who cherished the absolute loyalty and belief in their leader could make a world-startling miracle on the field of decisive battle in which even rocks were scattered by the enemies’ barbarous bombing.

The audience was deeply impressed by the performance as it gave an ideological and artistic representation of the strong mental power and noble moral world of the participants in the Fatherland Liberation War.
