Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, sent a congratulatory message to To Lam, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam on August 3.

He in the message extended congratulations to To Lam upon his election as the general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

He wished the Communist Party of Vietnam and its people greater progress in socialist construction under his leadership.
