The number of locomotive crew who have fulfilled their yearly transport plan increases in the railway sector amid the vigorous struggle for increased production and creation for implementing the decisions of the 10th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

According to data available, 60-odd locomotive crew have carried out their yearly transport plan ahead of schedule.

The Ministry of Railways and Party committees of every railway bureau and service brigade of engine launched in an offensive way the field-style political work for making innovation in freight transport by giving fullest play to the crew’s patriotic and fighting zeal.

The service brigades of engine across the country directed big efforts to consolidating the material and technical foundation of repairing base and shortening the repairing and maintaining hours of the locomotives while organizing the work for improving their equipment management capacity and driving technique.

Dozens of locomotive crew of different engine service brigades of the Pyongyang Railway Bureau have fulfilled their yearly transport plan before the set time.

Many crew of Hamhung and Kaechon railway bureaus also made signal success in the transport needed for the various sectors of national economy while waging the drive for extra-haulage on schedule without accident.

Similar successes are made in Cholsong, Hoeryong, Wiyon and Chongjin service brigades of Engine under the Chongjin Railway Bureau.
