A Midnight Call

It was one midnight a few years ago when a frantic natural disaster hit Kaesong City where an intensive anti-epidemic campaign was going on due to an unexpected emergency.

The respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un called a leading official of Kaesong City Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea to learn in detail about the damage from flood and warmly said that he was anxious that the city should fail to recover from damage by its own efforts as it had completely been locked down.

The official felt a lump in his throat.

It was just a few days before when the respected General Secretary had called him again and again out of anxiety for the people in the city and had said that he would always be with the citizens all out to prevent the worldwide catastrophe.

The respected General Secretary was restless that night, too, for the thought of the people in the city whose difficulties had been doubled by the flood damage.

After a short while, he earnestly expressed his belief that the people in Kaesong City would surely overcome the trials.

Nobody else in the world regards the people’s inconvenience as his biggest pain, deems it his natural duty to take care of them and devotes his all even late at night and early at dawn without resting peacefully like the respected General Secretary does.

Indeed, the respected General Secretary is a benevolent father who embraces all the people in the country and takes care of their destiny and future.

With Earnest Desire

It was one day in May, Juche 111 (2022), when everyone got shocking news that the malignant virus had entered our country.

The respected General Secretary, who had spent a busy day without a moment’s rest for the thought of the beloved people, convened a consultative meeting of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK.

He said at the meeting that reserve medicines, which would be urgently released as required by the maximum emergency epidemic prevention system, had to be timely supplied.

Then he personally read out the names of medicines on the list from the beginning to the end.

The officials, who were looking up to him, were moved to tears.

The respected General Secretary was reading the list with an ardent desire for those medicines to reach the people as soon as possible.

The officials couldn’t repress their excitement about his warm sincerity and noble love and devotion for all the people.

To the officials who attended the consultative meeting, the resonant voice of the respected General Secretary sounded like the voice of a mother which is always kind and warm.
