South Hamgyong Province puts continuous efforts into strengthening its foundation for public health true to the decisions of the plenary meetings of the Party Central Committee.

The province accelerates the preparation of operation of pharmacies at final stage while vigorously promoting the work to complete the construction of standard pharmacies in cities and counties.

Senior officials of the province set it as an important policy task to wonderfully build the standard pharmacies in cities and counties. On this basis they paid deep attention to it and ensured that the construction was completed on the high qualitative level in the shortest period of time.

Officials went to the construction sites to hold consultation meetings to ensure the quality of structures on the high level and, meanwhile, set up the work system to preferentially solve the problems arising in the construction. And they reviewed the execution of construction every week to let the officials in relevant regions bear fruits in construction.

They also took watertight measures for supply of materials and generalized the experience gained by Kumya County and Tanchon City to ensure that the construction of standard pharmacies was built on high level.

As the construction of standard pharmacies is near completion, the province puts forward with the preparation in a substantial way.
