Becoming Intimate Companion of Students

Haeju Secondary School No.1 has developed a study-support program helpful in improving conversation ability of its students in order to strengthen the education in foreign languages true to the intention of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

The program, which consists of pronunciation learning, pronunciation training and examination room, enables the students to get the knack of the rules on pronunciation by themselves with the study through the teaching materials, cartoons for foreign languages and multimedia.

It makes it possible to raise their ability of talking and listening.

Included in the program are functions of studying through games and idioms and proverbs using in life.

Thus, the program serves as an intimate companion of the students.

To Focus on Raising Practical Ability

Ryulgok Senior Middle School in Songyo District has created new teaching methods related with six subjects including mathematics, which is capable of generalizing them across the country.

After setting the goal for creating new teaching methods this year, officials of the school pushed ahead with the work of focusing on thoroughly embodying the Party policy in teaching and raising the practical ability.

Through the methods, which were created through repeated collective discussions by each section and school, the teachers implant the Party’s policies in mind of students and make them train abilities of solving the problems arising in reality.
