A seminar on the development of recombinant vaccine and therapeutic drugs took place at the Sci-Tech Complex here from August 21 to 23.

Present there were scientists, technicians, teachers and postgraduates of Kim Il Sung University, Pyongyang University of Medicine, University of Sciences, the Bioengineering Branch of the State Academy of Sciences, the Biomedicine Institute of the Academy of Medical Science and other units.

The seminar heard valuable proposals conducive to developing the country’s biological pharmacy and held a question-and-answer session.

What drew its participants’ attention were the proposals for treatment and prevention of incurable diseases.

During the seminar, there was a technical lecture on the development of the biopharmaceutical industry.
